Description
Ocean Jasper is a member of the Quartz crystal family, and can usually be found in colours such as white, green and brown, or more rarely in brighter colours such as black, blue, red, pink, orange, yellow and gray. Ocean Jasper is also distinguishable due to its interesting orbs and patterns that decorate it. It has been briefly documented from as early as the 1920s, but seemed to have been ‘lost from the world’ for about 75 years, until it was rediscovered off of the coast of Madagascar. This Ocean Jasper Sphere is big, beautiful and predominantly different shades of green with small white bubbly dots and stripes as well.
Ocean Jasper is connected to the heart, throat and solar plexus chakras, and is said to channel the strength and power of the ocean as well as the lunar cycle of the tides. Since the element of water is closely associated to emotions, this connects it very strongly to emotions and emotional stability, as well as resilience and motivation to accept change and new adventures with no fear. It provides calmness and peace during hard and trying times, helping to create and find a more positive outlook on life.
